Sir Elton John concerts during 2004.....

 

 Sir Elton John  in concert with his group of Davey Johnson (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Nigel Olsen (drums, vocals), Bob Birch (bass guitar, vocals), Guy Babylon (keyboards), John Mahon (percussion, vocals) at the Hop Farm in Kent on 20th June 2004 - presented by Marshall Arts, Musical Associates and the Hop Farm. 

Within this series of concerts, Elton and his group also performed at Ipswich Town Football Club on the 16th June and Bristol City Football Club on the 11th June 2004.

...and at the Royal Opera House.

 Sir Elton John  performed at the Royal Opera House , Covent Garden on December 1st, 2002 - the concert was in aid of the Elton John Scholarship for Composition at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Elton's group of musicians included: Davey Johnstone (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Guy Babylon (keyboards), Robert Birch (bass guitar, vocals), Nigel Olsen (drums, vocals), John Mahon (percussion, vocals) and the Orchestra of the Royal Academy of Music conducted by James Howard Newton (Five times Academy Award nominations, Two Grammy Award nominations and three Emmy Awards) 

 Summer 2003   - dates contracted for Elton include: June 24th The Kremlin Palace, Moscow - July 12th The Darmstadt Festival -  July 19th Hull City Football Club Stadium and July 22nd Powderham Castle, Devon.

 Elton's Summer Concerts - July 2001 

 Beiteddine Festival - Lebanon       Ephesus- Turkey        Palace of Catherine the Great 

 

        

             

             

 Beiteddine Festival   Sir Elton John performed a concert at the Palace of  Beiteddine in the Chouf Hills, Lebanon as part of the Beiteddine Festival on 7th and 8th July, 2001. This was the very first appearance by Elton John in the Lebanon. 

 Ephesus- Turkey  Elton also performed on the 17th July 2001 at the 2,500 year old grand amphitheatre at Ephesus, near Izmir, Turkey as part of the Izmir Festival. This spectacular event was filmed for the very first, live global pay-per-view Internet webcast, in association with Media Arts Corp and Microsoft.

  Palace of Catherine the Great  This Elton John concert took place in the famous White Room at the Palace of Catherine the Great, Tsarskoe Selo, near St. Petersburg in Russia on the 19th July 2001. The concert was filmed and later broadcasted on ORT Channel 1 in Russia, on Christmas Day 2001.
